After visiting the city, much of what we observed was very similar to the research that we did before. It was similar in that the businesses revolved around the beer industry which created an industrial vibe in the neighborhood. The rest of the businesses were very small and we expected that in the small neighborhood but maybe not to the extent that it actually was. We also believed that the water and river was much closer to downtown and was a bigger part of the industry but it was much further away than we thought because the river continues to change directions. We expected there to be a lot of homeless and that matched up with the background research that we did.
